November 20, 2020Food Animal Concerns Trust (FACT) promotes the safe and humane production of meat, milk, and eggs. FACT envisions that all food-producing animals will be raised in a healthy and humane manner so that everyone will have access to safe and humanely-produced food.

Missouri Organic Association (MOA) is a farming association dedicated to supporting our local organic farmers. We recognize that this year has been hard for farmers across the state and so for that we will continue to feature support opportunities as we hear about them.
Grants Available for Livestock & Poultry Farmers
Food Animal Concerns Trust (FACT) is accepting grant applications for livestock and poultry farmers who wish to expand animal welfare, build capacity, and/or improve pasture for their animals. Grants of up to $2,500 are available for projects such as building mobile housing, constructing fences, laying water lines on pasture, and much more. Farmers located in the U.S. who raise beef cattle, bison, broiler chickens, dairy cows, goats, laying hens, pigs, turkeys, and/or sheep may be eligible to apply.
