Organics in the Ozarks

For the second year in a row, MOA and MU Extension are partnering to bring you a full day of speakers and field experience with some of the leading speakers in the organic field.

$10 Registration is required and will cover entrance and lunch.

Summer Crop Rotations

Farmer Curtis Millsap will walk us through transitioning spring and early summer gardens to late summer/fall gardens at Millsap Farm

Beautiful carrots, head lettuce, broccoli, snap dragons, lisianthus, and other fall abundance are the reward for summer crop successions.  MOA staff will be on hand to discuss the process of connecting with NRCS to take advantage of conservation practices that will benefit your farm’s ecosystem and bottom line. As well, we will have staff on hand to discuss the process of transitioning to organic, connecting with mentors, and finding the practices that fit your farm best.
